COAL DENSITY SURVEY

Personnel at MIKON have been leaders in both the development and application of coal stockpile density testing by nuclear backscatter using the split-spoon method since 1978. We have refined our testing equipment to better serve our clients' need for accurate data provided in a timely and cost efficient manner.

Density surveys are performed by personnel with a minimum of 10 years experience with MIKON. We are familiar with the methods of coal handling utilized by our clients. Field crews coordinate the density testing program with plant personnel so as to minimize disruption of plant operations.
